AI help for small businesses in Tsawwassen and Ladner

Learn AI on the one thing you'd most like to improve, in plain English. A free hour at your place in Delta, Tsawwassen or Ladner.

Most of the week goes to work that doesn’t make any money. Quotes get rebuilt from scratch, often at night. The same customer questions get typed out again. Someone was owed a call, and nobody wrote it down. I help with that busywork. AI comes second, once it’s set up around how you actually work.

Who this is for

This is for small businesses in Delta. You might do the paperwork yourself, or you might have a few people who lose hours to retyping. Shops, offices, clinics and studios do different work. The waste in the week looks the same.

Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta are the three communities that make up the City of Delta. I’m based in Tsawwassen, and I come to you in all three.

The same help for South Surrey and White Rock is written up on its own page.

The busywork it helps with

These are the ordinary admin jobs, the kind already described on the admin jobs page.

  • The same customer replies, over and over. Your hours, what’s included, how long something takes, when someone is coming. A draft can sit there in your words. You read it and send it.
  • Quotes that wait until the evening. You take notes with the customer, then face a blank page later. A first draft can be ready when you sit down. You still check every number before it goes out.
  • Callbacks nobody is tracking. A quote went out and was never chased. A customer went quiet. A short list each morning says who to call.
  • Receipts, bills and rough notes. Photos of receipts that have to be keyed in, or scribbles from a call that have to become an email or a job sheet. The typing is the part that can move.

A person still checks the work before it goes anywhere. The aim is to stop doing the typing, not to stop paying attention. If a job is not worth paying to fix, the report says so.

If quotes are the job you dread, How to write quotes faster with AI shows how to get from notes to a draft. If you’re wondering what this means for your team, Will AI replace my staff? is the honest answer. If you sell real estate, AI tools for BC real estate agents covers what helps and what to keep out.

The free first hour

The first hour is free, and the usual version is at your place. I ask about your week, you show me a couple of things on your screen, and I teach you one thing you can use the next day. Within a day I send a one-page report: three things that would improve your business, how I’d do each one, and what it costs. It’s yours either way. If you don’t need me, I’ll tell you.

There are no dumb questions. Most of what people think they should already know, nobody knows.

How sessions work after that

I teach first. I only build when it’s worth it.

  1. Teach you and your team. On your real work, in plain words, until it is part of the week. A half-day is $2,000.
  2. Set up what you already have. ChatGPT, Copilot, your inbox, your spreadsheets. Shaped to how you work, so the job gets done without you babysitting it. Setup is $3,500.
  3. Build something only when nothing else fits. A tool made for your business, on your own accounts, from $5,000. Anything I build is yours. You can remove my access at any time. No lock-in. Every build comes with a care plan for the first 12 months, so it keeps working after I leave. It is $5,000, then $600 a month for care.

If you’d rather try it yourself first, How to start using AI in your small business is the step-by-step.

In person in Delta, or by video

I come to your place in Tsawwassen, Ladner, North Delta, or elsewhere in Delta. If getting together that week is hard, we do the same hour by video. You still share your screen, we still work on your real files, and you still leave with one thing you can use the next day.

Your information stays on your accounts, not mine. What is reasonable to type into these tools, and what should stay out, is in Is ChatGPT safe for my customers’ information?.

What it costs

All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus tax. Every job is priced on scope and what we’re teaching, so these are starting points. The report names the exact price for what you need. It also says when something is not worth paying for.

What What you get Price
The first hour An hour at your place, plus the written report Free
Teaching A half-day with you and your team, on your real work $2,000

The longer answer, including what the tools themselves cost, is in What does AI help cost a small business in BC?. Which ChatGPT plan to buy, in Canadian dollars, is in ChatGPT for small business: which plan, and what it costs in CAD.
